Glad you’re back again.

Another week of the dark side of American history.

It was a very diverse time when I was growing up in
eastern North Carolina in the 50s and 60s.
Many things were changing. My Dad was a Marine and a
Democrat but he was conservative. I remember when he decided
to become a Republican. He wrestled with the idea and
concluded that he was unable to move that far to the Left.
Rules are rules and the law is the law.
He was one of the millions that got pushed aside.
So what happened to force America off the prosperous
track we had been on after the Korean Conflict years?
The GDP has almost consistantly grown except during
conflicts and tax cuts. Roughly every 10 years we would
endure a recession but growth was pretty consistant right
up to the Obama years when it reversed or slowed drastically
due to the Fed manipulating the interest rates.
Another interesting fact is that in most years during
Democtatic Administrations unemployment averaged higher.
When you get down around 4-5% we reach what is consedered
"fully employed" status. It is currently around 3.5%. FYI:
That's very good.
I am getting off track. There were certain times when
America was vulnerable to change.
By the 1960s, America was trending toward urban devel-
opment. It was actually causing cultural divisions in the
larger cities.
A young man named Saul Alinski became the first self-
proclaimed Community Organizer. Born in Chicago the son of
Russian immigrants.
Chicago will and does play a major role in the movement
to socialize America. Mostly he was fighting the establish-
ment. He stirred up the Black Power movement, unions and
other ethnic based groups. He admittedly told many lies to
disrupt and repeated them until people accepted them as
truth.
I describe him as the original, liberal brainwasher.
In the late 1960s he wrote a book "Rules for Radicals"
which explained his idea on how to Fundamentally transform
America. If that sounds familiar, it is because that same
term has been repeated by many notable Democrats. This
includes the Clintons and Obama. More recently by a number
of the Class of 2020 Democratic Presidential hopefuls.
Fundamentally Transforming America is code for social-
izing the country.
To do this he needed a strategy.
FYI: Alinski dedicated his book to Lucifer. I am not at all
surprised.
I will elaborate on his book next week and tell you just
how close America came to becoming a socialized nation.
I like to think that we avoided it only by God's divine
intervention.
Come back, I am just getting started.

Conservatively,
John
