Are you as fed up as I am with the half truths and lies
the media is feeding us?
These past few years have made me wonder just "What in
the world has happened to the Mainstream Media?"
I can't possibly be the only one.
I decided the treatment Americans are getting from the
mainstream media has sunk to a pathetic disgusting level.
It's not even worthy of being called journalism.
I decided to start a blog to attempt to research and
share what I learn and maybe together we can start to rev-
erse the trust and faith lost by the people.
The blog will be a means for me to reach out to
Conservatives, Democrats and Independents.
All faith in the media has left Americans with no
reliable sources to inform us of what has been and is
actually going on in front of us.
We are in desperate need for truth and facts.
We deserve to know who said what and what was actually
said. Not what someone chooses to fill our heads with what
they think was meant.
This is not a new phenomenon. The media was recruited
decades ago. Most people trusted what people like Cronkite,
Brinkley, Reasoner, and others told them. We all felt they
were believable. Why would they lie?
In a couple of weeks I'll get into who convinced the
media to think they can control the people.
They could influence the people's perspective on nearly
everything, not just politically.
Their role was an important key to influencing many
American's choice of political party affiliations.
The media found that if they told the same lies often
enough with enthusiasm and never retract it unless caught,
the public would accept it as truth.
This seemed to empower the liberal side of things. They
saw this as an opportunity to exploit this trust as a
weakness.
Being lied to then was the exception not the norm.
There were consequences.
If not by the law, our parents, teachers, clergy and
often peers would advise us to mend our unethical ways.
Most local sources for fair, unbiased, non-partisan and
truthful news are long since gone.
As the political divide rapidly formed the people
got sucked in or pushed aside. This destroyed the times
when people could discuss politics at the local coffee
shop or diner. Democrats and Republicans could exist in
the same family, on the same pew at church, or at a week-
end picnic. People were able to set aside their political
differences and be Americans first.
Next week I will dig into how the Communist/Socialist
plans for America were manifested. It's been downhill
every since but there is hope on the horizon.
I plan to publish a weekly blog beginning about the
time that Republicans split from the liberal side of the
Democratic party.
Between now and November, I will do my best to be as
factual as possible.
    I will welcome constructive comments.
Coming from a Conservative, once Independent, I hope
you like what you read.

Conservatively,
John
